Plural Editores, The new Mozambican publisher
There is a new publisher in Mozambique: Plural Editores. Our main goal is to publish educational and technical books of exceptional quality, in order to contribute decisively to a better education of the next generations.
Our expertise in Education is based on the cooperation of the best professionals in the area, namely experts on several matters and well-known Mozambican authors. This way we assure that our publications are adequate to the reality of our schools and the needs of both teachers and students. In this first stage Plural Editores will invest more than 1 million dollars and will focus mainly on scientific and pedagogic rigour, as well as on the use of the most modern editing and printing technologies.
We would like to point out that, in result of the work that has been developed, Plural Editores already stands out in the Mozambican editorial context: in fact, we will publish a major part of the schoolbooks that will be used from 2004 on.
Plural Editores is part of Grupo Porto Editora, the leader in the Portuguese market in schoolbooks, dictionaries and educational and cultural multimedia. In 2003 Porto Editora was again elected the best Portuguese company in publishing, information and printing areas.
